Seamless Rain Gutter Installation Methodology

  1. Inspect fascia and surroundings to make sure there is no rot or other damage which could under mind the installation in years to come.
  2. All gutters are installed using hidden screw hangers which are spaced 2’ apart and 4” from the ends.
  3. Levels are used to ensure gutters have proper pitch and therefore flow properly.
  4. Premium gutter sealant is used to seal end caps and mitre corners.
  5. Stainless steel screws are used where most companies use a zinc plated screw which often rust after install.
  6. If old gutters were removed, recycle materials and remove all debris.
  7. Clean up after ourselves and leave the customers property as we found it.

Gutter Sizes

Gutters come in a number of sizes and while it was most typical to install the 4” variety in the 1980’s and into the 1990’s, we offer only the 5” gutter. While the 5” gutter is only slightly larger, you can see from the diagrams below, that the 5” gutter holds more than 50% more capacity than the 4” without adding any real costs to the installation.

Downspout Sizes

Downspouts also, come in a number of sizes and while the 2x3 is the most common size installed and available, the 3x4 size is an excellent choice if you have any kind of clogging problem such as leaves or pine needles. While the 3x4 downspout is a little more expensive to install, the savings come over the years when your downspouts do not clog due to the fall leaves or winter pine needle problems that can occur.
